Gianluca Longhi, former Managing Director at UniCredit, joined Milano Capital as Partner in January 2021.
Gianluca Longhi has over twenty years of experience in Corporate and Investment Banking, Strategic Advisory, and general management.
He has been Managing Director and member of the Executive Committee of the Corporate and Investment Banking Division at UniCredit, where he started to work in 2008 and where he covered several roles: among others, he was Deputy Head of FIG Italy and Head of CIB Global Client Management.
From 2001 to 2008, he was a strategy consultant at McKinsey’s Corporate Finance Practice, where he was elected Associate Principal in 2005, serving leading international Groups and Private Equity Firms in Europe and in the Middle East mainly on Strategy and Corporate Finance topics.
From 1998 to 2001, he worked as Analyst in the M&A department of Morgan Stanley in London.
He holds a degree in Management Engineering from Politecnico di Milano. His interests for digital transformation and contemporary art led him to co-found two startups and to be advisor to several others.
